Another satisfying deep clean and fresh letter inscription completed today at Cornwood Cemetery. 🪦

With the sunshine, the stunning views across Lee Moor and the peaceful surroundings, it was one of those days that reminds you how special this work can be. Every inscription is carried out with care and respect, helping to preserve the memory of loved ones for years to come.

A huge thank you to the family for trusting me with this work. They were considering replacing the memorial with a new headstone, but after seeing the results of the deep clean and restored inscription, they no longer needed to.

Hearing the customer’s reaction made it even more rewarding. He told me that before the restoration he felt ashamed of the condition of the headstone, but now he’s absolutely over the moon with how it looks. Comments like that make all the hard work worthwhile and remind me why I take such pride in restoring and preserving memorials with the care and respect they deserve.

What a transformation 💛

This marble book memorial had years of built-up dirt and grime hiding its beauty. After a careful deep clean, it’s looking so much fresher and brighter.

The best part is still to come 💥
I can’t wait to repaint the inscription, which will really make the lettering stand out and complete the restoration. It’s always satisfying to help preserve these special memorials for families and future generations. 🪦✨

Another day at work today, tending four plots across two cemeteries. 🌿 🪦 🕊️

The sunshine has been beautiful ☀️, although cutting the grass in this heat can leave it looking dry and brown. Thankfully, nature has a way of bouncing back and within a few weeks it’s fresh, green and growing again.

It’s all part of caring for these peaceful resting places and keeping them looking their best. 💚

Not a bad office for the day! 😄☀️

I’ve been out at St Michael’s and All Angels Church in Cornwood, pricing up some new jobs.

Sunshine, beautiful countryside, birds singing and a church that’s been standing for centuries… it definitely beats staring at four office walls! 🌿⛪

Days like this are one of the perks of the job. Now, if every site visit came with views like these, I definitely wouldn’t be complaining!

Looking forward to hopefully coming back and getting started on another great project.

With all the recent weather ☀️🥵 , the weeds and grass have already taken over, but it’s now looking clean, tidy and well cared for again.

Today’s deep clean at Weston Mill Cemetery 🪦☀️

This heat definitely isn’t my friend anymore! 😂 But the job still got done.

Today I unearthed the base, gave the memorial a thorough clean and wash down and cut all the surrounding grass to leave everything looking neat and cared for again. 😊

In a few months, I’ll be back to level the ground and re-seed the grass, so it can establish properly and leave the area looking even better.

Yesterday’s job was a deep clean of a beautiful white marble headstone and plaque.

Years of weathering had turned the once white marble a dull grey and the base surround had become hidden beneath dirt and overgrowth 🌱
With some careful work, I was able to restore the marble’s natural beauty and uncover the base surround once again. 🕊️⛪️🪦

This is why I love what I do. Seeing the transformation is always rewarding, but knowing what it means to a family makes it even more special.

A few white marble deep cleans I’ve completed 💛

No matter the age of the grave or how many years have passed, I always do my best to restore each plot and help it look its very best again 🧼

Two of these particular graves date back to 1912 and 1943 and the transformations speaks for themselves. The end results are something I’m incredibly proud of.

Alongside grave cleaning, I also offer:
