🔷 Hi everyone.

Due to a very busy schedule ahead and the longevity of the business we are looking for an experienced drainage engineer to be part of our team.

However we are also open to anyone who is interested in this role regardless of experience and are willing to train up and provide all tools and company van.

This role isn’t for a one man in one man out. We want to build a team of dedicated lads who take pride in their work and build a togetherness environment. You will not be ‘just a number’.

Essentials:

• Full UK drivers license.
• Age 25+.
• Leeds based (Close to Pudsey).
• Basic trade skills/ easily adapting to new skills.
• Be able to work in a 2 man team most days.

Preferred:

• Experienced drainage engineer.
• Experience within the following tasks. Patch lining, CCTV surveying, High pressure water jetting, Excavation & repairs, High level working (IPAF).

🔷 Biggest single survey completed to date.

A monster of a survey completed for a housing estate in Leeds, conducting a in depth report of the structural integrity of the drainage systems along with a detailed map drawing highlighting any defects.

All lines were pre high pressure water jetted to ensure we could survey each and every run.

Over 156 Manholes have been surveyed and all remedial works have now been quoted for and submitted.

🔷 Productive week on the surveys. 14 completed, finalised and sent over to our clients within the same day!

A busy week on the Jet vans too responding to reactive call outs and pre planned maintenances. Along with carrying out some repair works/ installs.

Also some good progress on the new unit, all should be finished and ready to move into by the end of next week!

•10m of Aco drains & waste pipe installed for the new shower block.
•4 X rest bends & waste pipes installed for the new toilet block.
•All concrete broken out & reinstated with new ready for the floor layers.
•2X core drills for new waste pipes from the disabled block.
•Wet room shower tray dug out and layed.
•New manhole chamber and connection installed.
•High pressure water jetting & chain frail descale.
•3X patch liners installed over fractured pipework.

Groundwork’s team preparing channels at a site in York ready for new pipe works to be installed tomorrow & Wednesday for a redevelopment at Aldwark Activity Centre.

2x Jet vans responding to reactive call outs to:

•Leeds - Blocked downpipes causing basement flooding.
•Pudsey - Blocked overflowing gully.
•Baildon - Full system blockage & gutter clearance.
•Guiseley - Blocked foul lines caused by tenant misuse.
•Mansfield - Blocked downpipe causing internal leaking and ceiling collapse.
•Sheffield - Iceland store rear loading bays service.
•Trinity Leeds - Everyman Cinema Leeds Internal waste pipe blocked.
