Twin Wall Flue Maintenance Completed – Fritchley 📍

Another couple of twin wall flue maintenance jobs completed today in Fritchley.

On the first system, we removed the existing flashing, which had been allowing water ingress, and replaced it with a new lead flashing to provide a long-lasting, weatherproof seal and prevent any future leaks.

On the second system, we extended the flue by adding an extra section to ensure it now complies with HETAS height regulations. Due to the exposed rural location and the surrounding landscape causing cold air to be forced back down the flue, we also fitted an anti-downdraught cowl to improve the appliance’s performance and help eliminate downdraught issues.
