I manipulate mothers to relocate their babies. Rats, raccoons, bats, iguanas, squirrels... 239-900-6411 Cape Coral and Fort Myers area
My unusual wildlife control methods are fast, gentle and cost effective. Insured and guaranteed repairs and results. I fix the root problem vs. repeatedly addressing the symptom. I manipulate wildlife mothers of all species to relocate their babies on their own a

ccord. This keeps them together as a family unit. My method is repair based for long-term results. Bats, squirrels, iguanas, raccoons, snakes, mice, rats, opossums, lizards, flying squirrels, Muscovy ducks, birds and more all love living in Florida attics and crawl spaces. I get them out and keep them out, forever, or, I can assist you with your DIY wildlife removal and control. I also work with otters, foxes, coyotes, vultures and other "nuisance" animals. If you want an osprey nest platform installed, please call and plan ahead. I especially love bat, Osprey and vulture proofing homes and businesses. Previously known as The Skunk Whisperer, I changed my company name to The Wildlife Whisperer and moved to Florida. The name change was mostly due to the "Ned Bruha, The Skunk Whisperer" television series on Animal Planet. I was promised an educational show similar to Steve Irwin, instead they fabricated drama. I refused to take money in trade for my integrity. My next TV show will be super fun and educational with a network who has the animals' best interest in mind. When I, Ned Bruha, visit your property, you will indeed be "Neducated" and forever changed. A property inspection from wildlife's point of view. In the future, any time you hear something outside your home of business, perhaps even just a tree branch rubbing on the roof - past clients always say they think of me. Because of how I operate, repeat clients are rare... but, when past clients go to buy another home or building, they very frequently have me inspect it first! I have tweaked blueprints for stadiums, homes, general landscaping and businesses to be built in a manner to eliminate architectural features that wildlife loves. Over the years, employees and I have installed thousands upon thousands of gutter covers. We clean gutters and can make it so you never have to clean them again by installing the gutter guard leaf filter gutter covering protection of your choice. So many animals gain entry to a person's home because clogged gutters caused wood rot in soffits and fascia. Animals such as squirrels love to sit in gutters and chew right into the attic. Under the shingle gutter covers are a great investment for many reasons, even if you have no trees in your yard. Broken roof tiles or Spanish tiles? Cannot find replacement roof tiles? Have no fear, I deal with concrete, Spanish and other roof tiles all the time when folks cannot find matching tiles. I have saved countless clients so much time and money by making it so they do not have to replace their entire roof. That missing tile may be allowing an iguana into your attic! We cover SWFL. We're proud to bring our wildlife control services to Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Boca Grande, Sanibel Island, Captiva, Fort Myers Beach, Pine Island, St. James City, Bokeelia, Matlacha, and Pine Island Center and your town.

It’s always a good day when you get to be a red-blooded American boy breaking out the rappelling gear and a proper hook ladder to manipulate a mother raccoon to safely relocate her babies out of an attic!🦝

Just another day in the glamorous world of humane wildlife management.

Repeatedly trapping and killing auto replenishing animals without (over) fixing the ROOT problem, is as worthless as an ashtray on a motorcycle.

You'll never guess where I'm at!

Not so fun fact: Burrowing Owls are not relocated. When developers choose to develop a property that has a Burrowing Owl living on it, the owls are not captured and relocated.

Careful scoping of the burrow to confirm there are no babies is done. When nobody is in the burrow, with all the proper FWC permits, and within their guidelines, the burrow is simply destroyed. There are many ways to make it so they don't want to re-dig that hole in the same place.

These Burrowing Owls who just lost their home typically meander around from windowsill to roof on different homes and become what anti-owl people call "malingers", until they dig a new living room.

Think about it, even if you were to physically relocate a bird, they have the ability to fly back to home base.

On the other hand, when a homeowner or developer is clearing a property with Gopher Tortoises on it, the same basic process is done, but Gopher Tortoises who are not relocated on site, go to greener pastures.

If you need either of these species relocated, give me a call! If Burrowing Owls are being "malingerers", you don't like it, you have zero tolerance and you want something legal, hands off and truly humane to make them move along, I can help you there as well.

Yes, I can now help you with being a homewrecker. You want somebody who truly cares about them to do it?

I won't be answering the phone for the rest of the day, and voice texting/texting is going to be difficult. Please leave a message or text / email and I will get back to you as soon as humanly possible.

It was 1st grade at St Joseph's Catholic grade school in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin when I smashed my bottom front teeth on a basketball hoop. We were playing king of the mountain, and I thought it would be cool to slam dunk a snowball into the basketball hoop. Slam dunking my bottom teeth instead has been something I've been able to live with up until today. Today is oral surgery and a bridge! Don't expect me to be very conversational this weekend.

The Wildlife Whisperer® Announcement & Statement.

For the first time in 25+ years, I am changing my business hours to 9-5 Monday - Friday.

As of this date, 03MAY26, I will no longer be open 24/7/365. I will continue to pick up the phone at any hour/day for current/past clients saved in my phone and will check voicemail for after hour emergencies.

This change is being done to intentionally avoid the hundreds of calls surrounding injured and orphaned animals that I take every month. In SWFL, I'm the only person who picks up the phone after 5PM, weekends and holidays.

For 15+ years, I never answered my company phone until I moved to Bokeelia in '17. My answering service had a flowchart to assist with injured and orphaned animals. I only got involved when the situation escalated to distempered raccoons.

Almost losing my voice after hours/weekends/holidays - for the animals - is one thing, but I'm not speaking with the animals in these situations.

Animals don't follow directions, and neither do humans. Animals being killed without proper due diligence is not in my mission statement.

Until my new webmaster finds an "AI Ned" voice flowchart acceptable to me to handle after hour calls, I am removing myself from this equation.

Despite the fact that this is going to likely kill countless animals due to Joe public not knowing where to turn, I cannot carry this over giving right now.

What would I change in my life if guilt was not involved? This. I am allowed to care without caring for everyone. I was born an empath, I am an empath for a living; I am drawing a line. Entities with a large staff don't pick up the phone after hours, perhaps I should take a hint.

This photo was taken in Tulsa when I responded to my very first distempered raccoon call. This was the first time I saw distemper convulsions in person. Distemper is an excruciatingly painful way to die. Disinformation surrounding distemper also kills.

Please quit believing wives' tales and social media when it comes to how to best care for an injured or orphaned animal. Google kills.

Below is a list of drop off locations for injured and orphaned animals to be picked up by a nonprofit Wildlife Rehabilitator volunteer.

What do you do if you find injured or orphaned wildlife in Lee County? Please refer below for guidance.

Not all animals need to be rescued. If they are not truly injured or orphaned, the best mother is always the real mother, if she's available.
If you're unsure, please call CROW - Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, Inc. hospital at 239-472-3644 extension 222. Rescues and rehabbers don't always pick up the phone. You must leave a voicemail. No voicemail, no help.

As a general guideline, if you find an orphaned opossum who is less than 7" from nose to rump (not including the tail), they cannot make it on their own.

Baby bunnies hiding in the bushes or in a nest in the yard? Mom is not going to give up her baby's location, just like a doe with her fawn. If you think they are orphaned, place very small twigs or thread in an X over the nest. If there's no movement overnight, they need to be brought in because they are orphans.

Baby bunnies hiding in the bush up against the house? These guys, if they're not laying on their side or bloody, are typically totally fine—but if you move them, mom won’t easily find them again.

If you are positive that an animal is truly injured, please follow these guidelines: Nobody gets paid to rescue animals—you’ve got this! Once again, if you're unsure, please call CROW’s hospital at 239-472-3644 extension 222.

Find or make a cardboard box. Place holes in the box for air—before placing the animal in the box, pretty please!

NO food, no water, no milk, no nothing. Keep them away from direct heat, air, pets, children, loud noises, Bigfoot, and selfies… if you do take a selfie with the animal, please post it on social media to empower others to do the same!

If you use a towel, blanket, or pet carrier, you can get them back when you drop the animal off at one of these locations below.
