A Huge Milestone 👏
Today is a incredibly special day for our family, and I wanted to share a little bit of the "why" behind Practice What You Bleach.
This morning, we were at James Cook University Hospital for Holly’s latest scan. Now two years old, she still has a metal plate in her leg to keep everything stable but we received the best news. The surgeon is absolutely delighted with her progress, everything is healing beautifully, and she is walking properly! 🎉
👩⚕️ A Massive Thank You
We want to send our deepest gratitude to the incredible surgeon and the entire team at James Cook University Hospital. The care, skill, and kindness you showed during Holly’s operation and follow-up care have meant the world to us. You are true heroes.
💕 Why "Practice What You Bleach" Started
Watching Holly face this journey with so much resilience and courage is exactly what inspired me to start this business. I wanted to create something that could give back to our community, fueled by the strength she showed every single day.
Discovering that your child needs major surgery for hip dysplasia is an incredibly difficult, overwhelming experience for the whole family. We’ve been there, and we know how lonely it can feel.
To any parents or families out there facing a hip dysplasia diagnosis:
Please, just send us a message. If you need a listening ear, advice, or just someone who understands the ups and downs of this journey, I would love to help support you in any way I can. You don't have to go through it alone.
Thank you all for supporting our business and being part of our community. Seeing Holly walk today makes it all worth it!
