Connect your account, access workspaces and folders inside ShotPut Studio, and send camera originals and proxies straight to ATOMOSphere as part of automated workflows, with no separate copying or uploading required.

Every user gets a free seven‑day trial, and ShotPut Studio is available as a perpetual license, so there’s no annual subscription.

On location for Cupra with commercial DOP Dan Flinter (.uk), the Sumo PRO‑19 took centre stage in the team’s tracking setup.

Mounted to the car’s headrest, it gave the director and client a clear, reliable view of every shot. Quick‑access buttons for false color, focus peaking, LUTs and anamorphic desqueeze kept the crew focused on the action, not the menus. For Dan, it’s become the hub of their on‑set workflow, keeping everyone aligned and the camera team nimble.

The Ground Control app is out now!

ATOMOSphere Ground Control is a desktop-based Mac and Windows application that enables users to access, manage, and stream media directly from ATOMOSphere as if it were a local drive, turning their ATOMOSphere workspace into a virtual drive for their desktop and NLE of choice. It connects ATOMOSphere projects directly to the desktop, allowing users to work instantly with no barriers.

Creators can move files, preview media and access content directly from the Finder. Files are downloaded and intelligently cached on demand, providing immediate access while minimizing local storage requirements. This approach removes complexity from file management and gives creators a faster, more intuitive way to work with cloud-based media.

"Cloud workflows should feel as natural as working with files on your own computer," said Peter Barber, Atomos CEO. "Ground Control makes ATOMOSphere feel like a natural extension of your desktop."
