Hi All, I have a job to do next week who have had another (un Named) larger company attend 2 times.
The issue is ants and they are absolutely prolific at this particular property.
It appears that they are nesting in the walls of an en-suite and that means there is “Other” issues behind tiles and walls!
The agent has stated that the company who has treated has done 2 X “Sprays” and the company stated it’s the worst they have seen!
I did question “Sprays” as a spray alone is certainly NOT suffice for this type of issue, and it requires everything in the arsenal to deal with!
I would also say that those treatments were absolutely “Sub Par” on what is expected for this issue 🤔
An effective treatment would include a spray as well as pest specific gel and dusting to accessible areas including “Weep holes” externally to ensure a good thorough treatment.
It may also include an invasive (cutting holes in plaster walls in the affected areas) to be able to treat effectively ✅
So be aware that if Ants are coming out of wet area tiles and silicone joints, that it is definitely a problem and the chances are that the timbers behind the tiles/walls are wet and that’s what ants as well as termites love!
