Is your favourite tree acting like a high-speed bridge for ants? When branches touch your roof or siding, you’re giving pests a VIP pass straight into your home!

🛑 3 Entry Points to Check:
• The Tree Bridge: Overhanging branches bypass your ground-level barriers.
• Window Sills: Tiny gaps in old caulking are “open doors” for scouts.
• Weep Holes: Essential for your bricks, but a perfect tunnel into your walls.

🛠️ The Fix:
1. Trim back: Keep branches 2–3 feet from the house. ✂️
2. Seal up: Recaulk window gaps to block the trail.
3. Cover up: Use breathable materials like copper mesh, stainless steel mesh covers or specific plastic covers to block weep hole from ants. Never seal them completely with caulk or foam as this will cause water build up.

Pro-Tip: Trimming the branch stops new traffic, but if they’re already in your kitchen, the bridge has already done its job!
