In the mummy's defense, toilet paper and flush toilets weren't around when he was alive. Being undead after 4,000 years comes with a learning curve.

Dealing with main line backups or sewer drainage troubles? Trust Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Cleaning Services for fast, thorough diagnostics and repairs!
When a customer experienced a main sewer line backup affecting their basement drains, our team jumped into action! After opening the cleanout and finding standing water, we camera-inspected the pipe, hydro-jetted through a blockage 40 feet out, and cleared invasive tree roots. A follow-up camera inspection revealed pitch issues and a cracked PVC line—likely caused by recent street roadwork. Despite the main line being full PVC, we got everything flowing smoothly out to the city main once again!

🛠️ Job Spotlight: Clearing a Heavy Kitchen Clog
Today, we tackled a stubborn kitchen sink clog. Upon removing the trap, we discovered misshapen pipes heavily choked with grease buildup. To resolve the issue completely, we cabled through the line multiple times, successfully pulling out large amounts of thick, black buildup that had restricted the flow. After clearing the line, we thoroughly tested the system to ensure everything was flowing properly. The Result: The lines are clear, and the sink is back to draining normally!

Taking care of your drains before a backup happens is always the smartest move! Today, we cleared lines for a proactive customer in Wausau. Kitchen Sink: A recent water softener installation revealed a pipe choked down with grease. We cabled through the line multiple times to thoroughly clear it. Basement Bathtub: We cabled the line and removed a heavy buildup of hair. The Result: Both fixtures were fully tested and are draining flawlessly!

🚨 Emergency Main Line Update
We were called back out to a recurring main line clog at the 130-foot mark. Our diagnostic camera revealed a severe structural failure: the pipe has shifted to an almost vertical angle and completely snapped off underground. Because the line is physically broken, a standard drain cleaning will no longer work. We strongly advised the customer to contact a plumber immediately to have this section excavated and replaced.

Roto-Rooter cleared a basement bathroom backup in Wausau. The customer initially chose to cable through the floor drain, but after 90 minutes of intensive work, the line remained blocked. We advised pulling the toilet to run our sewer camera and pinpoint the issue. 35 feet down, we discovered a massive buildup of toilet paper that had broken down into a thick, oatmeal-like substance. By carefully navigating with the camera and flushing with water, we broke through the sludge. We thoroughly tested all fixtures to confirm everything is draining perfectly again!

Main Line Backup Resolved! 🛠️
We recently tackled a main line backup in Wausau. We used a sewer scope to identify tree roots intruding right at the city tie-in, alongside a paper blockage. Our team then used a high-power jetter to remove the roots and clear the line, running water thoroughly to ensure everything is draining perfectly again!
