Stay safe & wear a life preserver

⚠️High Water Warning - Mandatory Life Jacket Wear⚠️

The Delaware River is expected to reach eight feet or above over the next two days. Life jackets are mandatory for all people in and on the water when the Montague Gage reads eight feet or above. River accesses close at 15 feet or above.

Avoiding river activities during times of high water is recommended, as the water becomes opaque and can cover or hide strainers and dangerous obstacles.

Stay safe. Stay afloat. Wear your life jacket! 🦺

Even when the water is below eight feet, every individual must have their own life jacket within easy reach. Every individual 12 years of age and younger must wear a life jacket in any vessel, including tubes.

🚨 PSA from your friendly neighborhood cleaner: Oven cleaner and stainless steel are NOT a love story. 🚨

I know… the oven cleaner is sitting there looking powerful, promising to melt away grease and grime like magic. But that same power can turn your beautiful stainless steel appliances into a streaky, cloudy, damaged mess. 😬

Most oven cleaners are designed for tough, baked-on carbon inside your oven — not the delicate finish on your refrigerator, dishwasher, range hood, or stainless steel surfaces. The harsh chemicals can attack the protective layer of the stainless steel, leaving behind discoloration, dull spots, or even permanent damage.

“But it says it cuts grease!”
Yep… and so does a good degreaser that won’t pick a fight with your appliances. 😉

For everyday stainless steel cleaning:
✨ Use a gentle cleaner made for stainless steel
✨ Use a microfiber cloth (because scratches are not a cleaning technique 😉)
✨ Wipe with the grain of the stainless steel
✨ Don’t forget: less product usually = better results
