This one is getting the FULL treatment. 👊

We’re restoring the topside gel coat to remove oxidation, bring the depth and gloss back, and get the finish looking right again.

But a real detail doesn’t stop at the gel coat.

We’re also:
• Deep cleaning the vinyl
• Cleaning and polishing the metal
• Cleaning the glass
• Detailing compartments, hatches, and non-skid
• Removing mildew, grime, and buildup throughout the topside
• Finishing everything off with polymer sealant on the topside surfaces for added protection

The goal isn’t just to make one section shine.

It’s to make the entire boat feel clean, restored, and protected from bow to stern.

Here’s something more boat owners need to understand:

You can’t sand and buff gel coat forever.

Every time we sand or compound a boat, we’re removing a small amount of gel coat to get below the oxidation and bring the finish back.

Do that once? No problem.

Do it over and over because the boat isn’t being properly maintained between services? Eventually that gel coat starts getting thin.

We’re seeing this more often on boats that skip their maintenance washes and let the Florida sun, salt and oxidation take over between visits.

The goal should NOT be to RESTORE your boat every few months.

Restore should be once or very few and far between. Then maintain it so we don’t have to keep cutting into the gel coat.

You maintain your cars and trucks. You maintain your house - your boat is no different.

Labor Day weekend is over, and if your boat got some use, don’t let the cleanup sit all week.

Fish blood, sunscreen, food, saltwater and wet gear can turn into stains, mildew and smells pretty quickly in this Florida heat.

At minimum: rinse it thoroughly, empty the trash, pull out anything wet, and let the compartments breathe.

Or let us handle it.

Our Captains Club CLEAN customers get to enjoy the boat without having another chore waiting for them afterward.

Boat hard. We’ll worry about keeping it clean.

One of the worst things you can do after a day on Tampa Bay?

Put the boat away salty.

Salt gets into everything—stainless, hardware, glass, upholstery and every little corner you forgot about. Add Florida heat and humidity, and it doesn’t take long for a clean boat to start looking rough.

A good freshwater rinse after every trip goes a LONG way.

Then let regular maintenance handle the deeper cleaning and protection.

Little habits like this are what keep a 5-year-old boat looking like a 1-year-old boat.

Take care of it now and you’ll spend a whole lot less fixing it later.

This one is exactly why we keep talking about maintenance over restoration.

This 25’ Sea Hunt came to us heavily oxidized with mold and mildew throughout the boat. Our team put in the work, corrected the gel coat, deep cleaned everything, and brought it back to life.

Now it looks like a completely different boat.

The best part? Once you get a boat back to this condition, the goal is simple:

Don’t let it get here again.

Restore it once. Keep it clean. Keep it protected. Stay ahead of the Florida sun, salt and humidity.

That’s exactly what our CLEAN, PROTECT and RESTORE system is built around.

Not every boat needs to be buffed.

Sometimes we actually tell customers not to spend the extra money.

If the gel coat still has good clarity and we can get the finish where it needs to be with a lighter polish and proper protection, that’s what we’ll recommend.

Our job isn’t to sell you the most expensive service. It’s to figure out what the boat actually needs and do it correctly.

And if it does need heavy correction, we’ll tell you that too.

Not sure where your boat falls? Send us a few pictures. We’re happy to take a look.

Black gel coat will show you everything.

This boat came to us heavily oxidized and faded, so our team went to work with our REVIVE restoration process to bring the depth and gloss back out of the finish.

This is the difference between simply putting wax on a tired boat and actually correcting the surface first.

If your boat has lost its shine, looks chalky, or just doesn’t have that deep finish anymore, it may be time for more than a basic detail.

That’s exactly what our RESTORE services are built for.

Send us a few pictures and we’ll let you know what it needs. 👉8134807558

One of the biggest mistakes we see boat owners make is waiting until the boat “looks dirty” to have it cleaned.

In Florida, a lot is happening before you can actually see it.

Salt dries on the surface. Bugs and bird droppings bake in. Mildew starts showing up in compartments and upholstery. The sun keeps working on everything in between.

Regular maintenance isn’t really about having a spotless boat every day. It’s about preventing all of that stuff from becoming a bigger job later.

That’s the whole idea behind our Captains Club CLEAN program.

Stay ahead of the mess and your boat is a whole lot easier to own.
