As we count down the final days to our 60th Anniversary on August 1st, we look back to where it all began: a home office in Prairie Village, Kansas, and a shared vision between two incredible people. 🏡

James "Jim" Augustine and his loving wife, Margaret, were married in Kansas City, Kansas, on November 29, 1952. Fourteen years later, on August 1, 1966, they co-founded Augustine Exterminators. Jim launched the business as a dedicated, one-man field operation, while Margaret managed every single aspect of the office from their home while raising their six children (not an easy feat!).

From bookkeeping in the first decade to ushering our company into the computer era in the 1980s, Margaret’s adventurous spirit kept us moving forward. Together, they built a foundational legacy that now spans five children, seventeen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren ❤️.

What started as a modest family dream has grown into the largest independent pest control company in Kansas with QualityPro and GreenPro Certification 🏆.
