Apparently this guy has been asleep in our sealed termite habitat for over a YEAR and decided today was the day to wake up. ☀️😭

No way in or out. He’s apparently just been cooking in there this whole time waiting for his moment.

Pretty sure he’s a Spruce Zebra Beetle (a type of wood-boring beetle). He’s not native, so we’ll be doing what we do best 🥾🪦.

We needed to evict termites from this school - and wanted it done FAST so kids wouldn’t miss recess ☀️

These termites stay hidden in the soil and travel through mud tubes to reach your home, silently causing damage long before you ever see them.

🔍 What to watch for:
• Swarming termites or discarded wings
• Mud tubes along your foundation
• Soft or damaged wood
