Tip Tuesday: Trick or treat that stain 🍫🐝

Halloween chocolate on clothes? Scrape off the excess and run cold water through the back of the fabric, since hot water sets the stain. Rub in a drop of dish soap, let it sit 10 minutes, and wash as usual. No tricks, just clean. 👻

Cooler weather means it’s time to set your ceiling fan to spin clockwise on low. That pushes warm air back down into the room. Before you flip it, slide an old pillowcase over each blade and pull it back. All the dust stays inside the case instead of landing on your bed or couch. Shake it out outdoors, toss it in the wash, done. 🍂

It looks clean, but dryer sheets leave a waxy film you can’t see, and it clogs the mesh. Test it by running water over the screen. If the water pools instead of draining through, it’s time for a scrub. Use warm soapy water and an old toothbrush, then let it dry completely before you pop it back in. Your clothes will dry faster, your energy bill will be lower, and it’s safer heading into sweater season. 🍂🧺

🔥 Tuesday Tip — Clean Your Oven!

Summer baking and holiday prep is coming — don’t wait until Thanksgiving to discover your oven needs a deep clean! Coat the inside with a baking soda paste, spritz with white vinegar, and let it sit for a few hours or overnight. Wipe it down and you’re good to go. Bonus: run the self-clean cycle afterward if your oven has one!
