Sam's Field Notes 📝 Our tech Sam spotted this on a patio in the East Valley. A fly that was already weak goes down, and the ants move in fast. Here's what's happening: scout ants find the food, then leave a scent trail on the way back to the colony. Other ants follow that trail, and before long there's a crowd tugging the meal home. Hail hit parts of Mesa, Chandler and Gilbert last night. Today we're under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 9 PM and a Flood Watch through Thursday afternoon. We hope everyone is safe and dry. Please don't drive through flooded washes or roads. Turn around, don't drown.

One small heads-up from your neighborhood pest pros: when it storms, plenty of critters go looking for somewhere dry, and sometimes that means your house. Check your door sweeps and patch any gaps you find. If something moves in anyway, give us a call. We're family-owned and right here in Queen Creek.
