A friendly reminder from a small business owner:

Small businesses are still businesses. Our pricing, policies, and service fees aren’t random numbers—we set them based on our time, labor, experience, supplies, insurance, and the level of service we provide.

I do my best to accommodate clients whenever possible, but there are certain policies that are non-negotiable. One of those is my pet policy. Additional pets mean additional hair, dander, odors, cleaning challenges, and wear on equipment. That’s why pet fees exist.

When I compliment a client’s home by saying it’s clean, that isn’t an invitation to negotiate my pricing. A clean home still requires professional labor, attention to detail, and the same commitment to quality that every client receives.

I truly appreciate every client who trusts me with their home. Respect goes both ways, and part of that respect is understanding that professional services have professional pricing.
