A few damaged shingles can turn into a much bigger headache if they're ignored! 🏠🔨
This home had several roofing problem areas that needed attention, and our FixRoof crew went through and tackled them one by one.
Here's what we repaired:
- Removed the shingles from the valley near the main entrance
- Installed new ice & water shield and re-shingled the valley
- Replaced broken and tarred shingles
- Replaced a damaged shingle with a hole along the driveway-side rake edge
- Removed and replaced the ridge cap shingles
- Replaced all 4 pipe flashings
- Sealed exposed nail heads
- Completed a full cleanup and removed all repair debris
**Shingle Color Note:** We matched the replacement shingles to the existing roof as closely as possible. Since shingles naturally fade and weather over time, slight color differences between the new and older shingles can occur.
Valleys, pipe flashings, ridge caps, and exposed nails are all areas where water can find its way in if they're not properly maintained.
Sometimes taking care of those smaller repairs now can help prevent much bigger problems later!
