so grateful for the Michigan Storm Chasers to help get us through these wild storms, and so excited for their app!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

Good evening folks. It is with both great pleasure and also sadness that we are announcing that the Michigan Storm Chasers Mobile App is live and available to download - but ONLY on the Apple App Store for iOS devices - for now. Android is coming at ANY time. Read on for more information.

Apple has been fantastic in this whole process of reviewing and suggesting changes for us. No complaints there. Google (Android devices) has been EXTREMELY slow and unfortunately the timing has not aligned for a uniform launch on both platforms simultaneously. Rest assured, our app is “in review” with Google (and has been for 9 days now) and once Google approves it will be published immediately to the Play Store for download. That could be in a few minutes or it could be in a couple of days. It is 100% in the hands of Google at this point and out of our control.

So with that said, Apple users, go nuts.

Android users, we are very sorry it had to be this way, but Apple was just way too quick in comparison to Google and we just couldn’t keep it a secret much longer with our app sitting on the Apple Store and gaining attention fast.

On the positive side, given the attention our app brings, launching half / half is not all bad. We anticipate a HUMONGOUS surge of downloads which could ultimately crash the server. So releasing one platform at a time is safer for us and our devs anyway. Read on for further information.

**Another Public Service Announcement for all**

The app has been launched as our “meat and potatoes” app with basic information and is missing several features that we will be adding in over the next few weeks to months. In the future, you will be able to do things like:

•Watch our streams in the app
•View air quality
•See our forecasts from Facebook in the app
•Members only forecasts will be made available under the pro subscription so you can cancel your subscription on Patreon / Facebook once this update is made available. For now, keep your current subscription.

And much more…

Please understand we streamlined this app for launch as quickly as possible and for this reason, some features were left out on purpose. But rest assured this app is a marathon project and not a sprint. This will only get better as time goes on with even more features planned!

✨🫧 I’m happy to let you all know that because of some big shifts in my life this year, my body is steadily building more capacity for adding one or two regular service clients to my calendar this year!

There is of course a nervousness because I am still learning how to manage my dynamic disability even 3 years in. I worry I’m more confident than I should be because I’m super excited about these shiny “new spoons” I now have from steadily building more capacity.

But the symptom that was MOST crushing to my ability to work well, the migraines… I’ve been getting free from them. They show back up in times of acute high stress or with the couple headcolds I had this spring. But it’s not constant anymore. And they’re less days long when they do happen. Absolutely liberating!!

The dream is to have taken on two more regular service clients by the end of the year! I could fit two additional clients as early as August on my calendar. And it is such a good feeling to have great optimism and belief that I could handle that with my continual improvement. 🤗✨

This is kind of a marketing post and kind of not, I don’t feel a particular sense of urgency to find two more homes to help. It just feels good in my spirit to know that it is safe to start committing to a couple new clients should they appear!
