Fikes is a facility services and product provider serving thousands of clients in the region. We have a team of certified technicians skilled in restroom sanitation, scenting and odor control, deep cleaning and pest control, and we offer over 3000 products that include paper goods, gloves, food-service items, janitorial products and more. We’ve been recognized as the most comprehensive vendor in the Pacific Northwest for the multiple ways we help local businesses enhance the image of their facilities, save valuable time for their teams and reduce operational costs. To learn more, visit us at www.fikes.com or reach out to our team at (800) 900-1083. "Anyone can provide janitorial products, paper products and cleaning supplies and deliver them for a few dollars plus or minus, there's nothing special about that. We differentiate ourselves by being a service company and problem solver first. We build trust with our clients by understanding their needs, what they value and how we can help them. Often times we can reduce their costs significantly, but none of that is relevant unless we are able to provide the services and products that help them achieve their goals. Whether they want to improve their restroom's image, simplify their inventory needs, buy green and save green, or all of the above, we want to be a trusted partner they can count on." - Mark Sims, CEO

Our LAST Chili Cook-Off with the Washington Multi-Family Housing Association is in the books πŸŒΆοΈπŸŽƒ

We're so glad we got to be a part of this event over the years 🫢 We'll miss the chili completion next year, but we can't wait to see the reimagined Harvest Fest WMFHA is putting together to continue supporting the Domestic Abuse Women's Network (DAWN) and the great work they're doing in our community!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hi on Saturday and to the WMFHA team for the great send-off for one of our favorite events! πŸ–€

That floor had years of grime on it. One pass with the surface cleaner pulled it right up.

This is what garage pressure washing looks like when it's done right. Clean concrete. All that buildup, gone.

Proudly Obsessed with the Dirty Details.

Your trash chute takes everything that comes down it. Grease, food waste, bacteria. Day after day.

We flush it out and wipe it down. What's left: sanitized and odor-free.

Proudly Obsessed with the Dirty Details.

Lara Holmes and Brandon Goosen took the Pillar Properties maintenance team to Topgolf this week. Seattle Kraken ticket raffle, good food, and a few hours away from the buildings.

These are the people who show up every day to keep things running. They don’t get nearly enough credit for it. Getting to be the ones who say thank you for that? That’s the best part of what we do. πŸ™Œ

Thank you to the Pillar Properties team for trusting us to be a part of yours.

The water going in tells you what's in the chute. The water coming out at the compactor level tells you how long it's been.

An interior washdown on a trash chute isn't complicated. Hot water, appropriate pressure, full contact with the shaft surfaces, enough dwell time to break down the grease and organic buildup on the walls. What makes it effective is the sequence. We work top-down, section by section. A surface-level rinse from a single floor doesn't do the same job.

This frame is mid-washdown. The water is hitting the interior surfaces, working through the buildup that's been sitting on the shaft walls. What you don't see is what came out the other end.
If your property is in WA, OR, or CO and your chute hasn't had a full interior washdown in the last 12 months, it's time.

That chute hopper door has been opened thousands of times. The seal around the frame. The self-closing tension. The latch that's supposed to click shut every single time.

When a hopper door doesn't close properly, the smell from the chute shaft moves into the floor corridor. Residents notice. They complain.

A chute hopper check takes less than 10 minutes per floor. We've found doors on 6th floors that haven't latched correctly in months because nobody checked.
Worth knowing what yours look like. Serving WA, OR, and CO.

The trash chute in your building has been opened hundreds of times in the last month. Nobody has looked inside the shaft in longer than that.

A trash chute shaft picks up grease, organic debris, and airborne particles from every floor it passes. Sealed vertical shaft, no ventilation, years of buildup. That's where the smell that never goes away is actually coming from.

Fikes does top-down interior cleanings. Roof access in, full shaft washdown, recovery at the compactor level. If your building's chute hasn't had one in over 12 months, it's overdue.
Serving WA, OR, and CO.
