The wax that counts is inside the chain.

Each link has pins, bushings, and rollers moving against each other thousands of times a ride. That's where friction and wear happen, not on the outside plates.

Fully melted, hot wax flows into those internals. Out of the pot, it hardens in place. You get lubrication where the parts actually move, and a dry outside that gives grit less to stick to.

That depends on the wax being properly melted every time. The Chain Waxing System is a dedicated pot with controlled heat, for a clean, repeatable routine without the kitchen equipment.

Nick Lando didn't start with our wheels. He started with a bottom bracket.

"I was blown away at how smooth it was out of the box." Then he raced one of the muddiest mountain bike races he's ever done, and couldn't tell his "abused" bottom bracket from a new one.

Next came chain wax. He'd tried waxing before and sworn off it. Now: "I haven't lubed a chain in 2 years. It just works."

Most recently, the R55 and XC30 wheelsets. His take: "Rotation is delivering a top-tier quality product at the price of the mid tier level wheels."

Find the gap. Then go.
