Brunswick Sewer District Quai-Municipal Wastewater Collection and Treatment.

The Brunswick Sewer District, "the District", is a quasi-municipal corporation created in 1947 for the purpose of providing and maintaining, within the territorial limits of the District, a sewer system for the collection, treatment and disposal of sewage.

🚨UGENT PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUCEMENT 🚨

A local legend has vanished. Our wooden Bigfoot silhouette has been taken from the treatment plant grounds, and frankly, we’re worried about the thief.

Do you know what Bigfoot eats? We imagine Bigfoot missing a diet of wastewater and biosolids makes for a very cranky lawn ornament.

If you “borrowed” him for a photo op that got out of hand, just drop him back at the gate. We just want our silent guardian back to watch over our clarifiers and trickling filters

Brunswick Sewer District Welcomes... GRINCHFOOT! 🎄
​For years, we've had reports of a mysterious, large, green figure roaming near our pumping stations. Now, we can confirm: It's Grinchfoot, our new official (and very festive) mascot!
​Legend has it that Grinchfoot's heart was initially two sizes too small, but after witnessing the dedication and hard work of the Brunswick Sewer District staff and the successful operation of our system, his heart grew three sizes that day! ❤️
​Now, our friendly cryptid is here to ensure your holiday season—and your plumbing—runs smoothly. His motto is: "Maybe Christmas (and clean sewer systems) doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more!"

We are declaring a Parking Ban for the Downtown Yellow Zone from 12:01 AM until 7:00 AM on Thursday, December 4, 2025 to facilitate snow clean-up and removal.
