A big update from our Cannon Hill pool and spa project.

The full tiling is now complete, with the tanking membrane in place and large 600x600 Stone Valley tiles installed across the pool, spa and surrounding areas.

It is still a construction site, but we are well into the finishing stages now. The final plant equipment is being fitted, the glass is nearly ready to go in, the deck will be washed and refreshed, and we are getting very close to filling both pools and bringing the systems to life.

This is always one of the most exciting stages of a project, when the vision really starts to come together.

We will be back soon with the pool and spa full, finished and functioning.

Big prep week on our Tai Tapu pool project.

Steel reinforcing is in, the pool and spa structures are taking shape, and the insulation layer is now in place. We insulate all of our swimming pools here in Christchurch and across the South Island, helping create a more efficient pool from the ground up.

On Monday, the shotcrete goes in.

Shotcrete is a specialised concrete mix that gets pumped through a line, then applied under pressure to form the pool and spa structure. It’s a big day on site, and it’s a process our team takes a lot of pride in. There’s a real craft to it, and we’ll have the full team here to bring it all together.

A lot of work goes into getting to this stage, so we’re excited to see this Tai Tapu project take shape.

What started as a spa renovation quickly evolved into a full swimming pool transformation in Mount Pleasant.

Rather than starting again, the original concrete block structure has been retained and completely reworked. The old fibreglass finish has been removed, allowing the pool to be upgraded with new platforms and steps, automatic cover integration, and a fully tiled interior finish.

The result will be a far more refined, modern pool designed for year-round use and built to better suit the home and family using it.

Projects like this show what’s possible when you rethink an existing pool properly.

There’s some serious talent behind the One New Zealand Stadium, and we’re proud to be part of it. From concept to completion, this project brings together some of the best in the business, each contributing their craft to create something truly world class. For our part, we delivered the heating, cooling, and filtration systems for the pool, engineered for comfort, clarity, and reliability. Looking forward to seeing the stadium open up early next year.
