I grew up on a farm. Getting my hands dirty was never something I shied away from. So when I started my cleaning business I threw everything into it.
I built a team, a reputation, something I was genuinely proud of. But it was the deep cleans that changed everything. Not because of the results, although the results were incredible. But because of what I saw happen to people afterwards.
The woman who had not been able to have anyone in her home for years, standing in her kitchen with tears in her eyes because it felt like hers again. The family who had been dreading going back to a property, calling me the next day to say they finally felt like they could breathe. Or the landlord who thought a property was beyond saving, seeing the after photos and not being able to believe it was the same place.
I kept seeing it over and over again. A clean was not just a clean, It was someone's mental health.
Someone's fresh start and someone's ability to move forward with their life. That is when I knew.
This, the deep cleaning, the biohazard work, the jobs nobody else will take on, this is where I am supposed to be! It is not always easy work. But it is always important work and I would not do anything else.
