Reclaimed parquet transformation (near Pocklington) ✨
This floor had settled over time — uneven, gappy, and never truly level.

We carefully levelled and stabilised it, selectively filled the larger gaps, then sanded and refinished with a hard-wearing professional system.

This predominantly grey riven slate floor was restored during a kitchen renovation, between removal of the old units and installation of the new kitchen.

The surface and grout had become tired and uneven. The floor was deep cleaned, the grout carefully restored, and the slate resurfaced where required to bring back its natural colour and texture.

The brief was to enhance the stone without introducing gloss.

The final finish restores depth of colour while maintaining a natural, low-sheen appearance, protected for everyday use.

Original pine floor restoration – York city centre

This original pine floor had never been sanded before and had heavy bitumen residue around the edges, along with areas requiring repair and stabilisation.

The process involved careful wood fixing, multi-stage sanding, filling and re-sanding, followed by a professional lacquer system to provide durability while retaining the natural character of the boards.

Floors like this require a considered approach — rushing or cutting corners would only compromise the result.

A great example of what can be achieved with the correct preparation and experience.
