Our Green Fingers Garden Club met up again 🌱🌺

This week we removed a few weeds, moved some stepping stones and found lovely places to put the stones that we decorated 🥰.

We also had a good old natter 😁👍

Our raised bed is looking very nice now, and some of the new bulbs have started growing 😁

Residents and visitors gathered for wine, cheese and nibbles in honour of Yorkshire Day this afternoon 🍷🧀🧡

One of our residents, Margaret, prepared a special Yorkshire themed quiz for our event. Other residents helped to make our beautiful bunting. It was a fun afternoon.

Joyce was our winner scoring 20/20 👏. Well done Joyce ⭐️

Residents enjoyed a fun game of skittles together 😁🧡

The game was adapted so everyone was supported to join in. It was lovely to see so much laughter and encouragement alongside the friendly competition 🥰

Residents and staff had a lot of laughs playing Snakes & Ladders together 😁

Everyone just loves this 🤩. Familiar things like Snakes and Ladders bring back good memories, and help spark conversations and reminiscence 🥰

The Monday Quiz was brilliant this week 🧡

The cinema room was full to capacity for this very popular event run by our very own residents Margaret and Liz. This week Margaret was in the hot seat and everyone loved it 🥰

Our winners this week were Christine and Liz who both scored 19 out of 20 👏😁

We all had loads of fun Carpet Bowling at the weekend 😁🧡

Our two teams were very evenly matched this week, and Liz’s red team won by just one game 🤩

It was eyes down for our Saturday bingo 👀😁

The prizes were stocked up to include chocolate and non-edible prizes this week.

Margaret and Vi both won full house, but no one left empty handed with prizes awarded for one line and two lines also 🧡😁
