The people I meet in this job has to be one of my favourite things about my job.

I can name their children, their grandchildren, their pets, they talk to me about their jobs, their families, holidays, memories. They ask about my kids, my family, my staff.

When I started the business six years ago, I never once thought id be crying on a Saturday morning over the passing of two of my most adorable clients.

But here I am, absolutely gutted and heartbroken I will never get to see them again.

You know what makes my job so incredibly special? The fact that my clients speak to their families about me, like I am a part of them just as much as they’re a part of me.
