Sometimes a clean is about more than just cleaning. ā¤ļø

This was part of a recent deep clean I carried out for a clientā€™s dadā€™s home.

There was a lot of built-up dirt and grime that had been left for some time, so this was one of those jobs where you could really see the difference between the before and after.

But the message I received afterwards honestly meant more to me than the transformation itself:

ā€œThanks Jord for all the hard work you did on my dadā€™s houseā€¦it is now back to how I remember it when my mom was with usā€¦we are so pleased with it we are going to ask you to look after the cleaning every month xā€

This is why I love what I do.

Yes, I love seeing a filthy surface become spotless šŸ˜‚ but sometimes youā€™re not just cleaning a house ā€” youā€™re helping someone get a little bit of their home back.

šŸš©The cleaning mistake almost everyone makes: Going straight in with a disinfectant before actually cleaning.
There is a major difference between cleaning and sanitising:
1ļøāƒ£ The Clean (Stage 1): You have to physically remove the dirt, dust, and grime first using a damp cloth and a cleanser. If you skip this, bacteria just stays trapped underneath.
2ļøāƒ£ The Sanitise (Stage 2): Now you spray your disinfectant and actually give it time to work (donā€™t forget to check the contact time!).
3ļøāƒ£ The Dry: Finish with a dry disposable like kitchen roll, blue roll, or a lint-free cloth to remove moisture and prevent bacteria from multiplying again.
Stop sanitising dirt. Clean first, sanitise second! āœØ
