A professional sweep completed in Telford today 🔥

Today we carried out a full sweep and inspection of a twin wall flue system, leaving the appliance and system clean, checked, and performing as it should. The stove glass was also cleaned, helping restore a clearer view of the fire and improving the overall finish of the appliance.

As part of the visit, we also provided professional aftercare advice, including:

• Guidance on occasional water collecting in the external sump, which is most likely condensation rather than a serious fault
• Advice on the top-down lighting method for a cleaner start, improved efficiency, and better overall burn performance
• A check of the fire bricks to ensure they remain in good condition
• Advice on correct CO alarm placement, because safety should always come first

For us, a visit is about more than just sweeping. It is about making sure every customer leaves with a cleaner system, greater confidence, and the right advice to look after their appliance properly.

We’ve officially completed our first stove installation of 2026 – an 8.4kW appliance installed fully in accordance with Document J building regulations.

Great week all round. A busy few days sweeping, and we’re even halfway through our first installation. Hearth and A1 fire cement board complete, with the rest to be finished when we’re back from our 10-year anniversary break away.
