Oh wow… this heat is something else ☀️🥵

I whinge when it’s cold, and apparently I whinge when it’s hot too 😂 I can honestly say I’m very glad to be off this week… well, sort of, apart from a few care shifts!

This weather is absolutely insanely hot, so I hope you’re all managing to keep cool, stay hydrated, and enjoy a little bit of sunshine where you can 💛
we enjoyed a gorgeous sunset at mount batten last night, we stayed untill 10pm, think I'll stick to the beach at night haha!!!

what a week!! 😂

Turned up to a care shift at my lovely client’s house and somehow ended up in a full blown wildlife documentary. This pheasant decided he was absolutely ready to move in and marched straight to the patio doors like he paid the mortgage.
At first I tried gently encouraging him away… sort of, I definitely was not brave enough while my client died of laughter. . . it quickly turned into me flapping around the garden more than the actual bird 😭 I’m pretty sure the neighbours got a free comedy show watching me sprinting in circles while this pheasant calmly ignored every instruction I gave him.

To make it even better, after getting my clients permission, the neighbour had to come rescue both me AND the pheasant because clearly neither of us knew what we were doing. The bird was living his best life while I was out there fighting for survival armed with nothing but a mop and panic.
Anyway we all survived, my dignity is gone, and the pheasant has probably told all his mates about the cleaner/carer he terrorised today.
Just another normal day in the life of Rose 💪🏆😂

Just a little reminder that mental health matters 💛

It’s been a bit of a tough few weeks behind the scenes, so I’m giving myself some grace and taking things a little slower.🫸

I won’t be taking on any deep cleans for the time being, but I’ll let you all know as soon as my diary reopens.

Huge thank you to all my lovely customers for the past couple of weeks ❤️

I really appreciate you all bearing with me while I nearly took off the tip of my finger 👉😅 … whoops! Definitely not my finest moment! I nearly bought one of these so I could still work but I was under strict orders not to 😂 it did make me laugh looking at it and imagining all your faces when I turn up!

I’m happy to say I’m now back to normal and ready to go again. ✨

Happy Easter 🐣

April is usually the time of year when many businesses review and increase their prices, it’s something that naturally comes around annually. As a self employed business, there are always rising costs behind the scenes, from supplies and equipment to insurances and fuel, and these increases often need to be reflected over time.

This year, I had made the decision not to put my prices up, and I still intend to keep things as they are for as long as possible. However, with fuel prices continuing to rise, it is becoming a growing concern.

If costs continue to increase, I may need to review pricing in the future at some point this year but I will always be transparent and give plenty of notice. For now things are staying the same 🙏❤️
