Timbra - Bespoke Furniture Design Timbra (meaning 'to build' in Old Norse) was founded by Jason Winder in 2022 following over 15 years' experience in the industry.

We design and build furniture and interiors for homes and businesses combining modern technology with traditional techniques.

Acoustic slatwall hand finished with a ‘whiskey’ oil with matching oak frame and TV niche with felt back panel, hidden cable management via a removable panel on magnets. Warm white LED lighting controllable by WiFi.

Standing proud at 3m high and 3.6m wide, this was manufactured off site in parts and installed in one day.

It was a pleasure working with this technology consultancy company on their vision for their office interior. This will provide a dramatic backdrop for meetings and presentations. As always a drawing package is provided for sign off before manufacture.

Campervan cabinetry for a LHD Ford Transit L2H2 (medium wheelbase, medium high)

U-shaped layout with seating area/bed/table, storage under bed and from back doors. Loads of storage space, fridge space, drawer, overhead lockers, all doors on black push catches.

All cabinetry bespoke designed, cnc cut and made in white laminate lightweight plywood, with oak finish worktops, all with black protective edging at customers request.

Introducing the Timbra Kitchen 01: minimal, honest, sustainable

Available to order in your bespoke sizes.

Birch plywood, clear lacquered. Inset doors and simple cutout handles in the cabinets allow the structure and material to be celebrated.

A minimal approach to the construction compared to the traditional method makes it look effortlessly architectural.

This example was designed specifically to fit everything a modern kitchen needs into a small galley kitchen in . Under-counter fridge, slimline dishwasher, oven, hob, extraction and a seamless sink in the beautifully robust stainless steel worktops, elegantly fitted flush with the edges of the cabinets. In order to fit everything in and still include a cutlery drawer, the oven was moved down to the bottom, which although unorthodox works very well in this space.
A generous dining bench with hinged soft closed lid provides ample extra storage. A matching window portal ties it into the fabric of the building.

The cabinets are 18mm throughout including the back panel which makes super rigid cabinets that will last a lifetime. The lacquer is commercial grade sprayed, water-based matt finish. Hardware is Blum soft close throughout with handmade oak stops.

- Oak veneer interior with solid oak lipped shelves finished with Osmo UK
- Brass shelf pins into brass sockets for the ultimate in durable adjustable shelves, positions calculated so they can be perfectly ‘graduated’.
- The bespoke skirting and cornice mouldings are referenced from the Chippendale Director (official title ‘The Gentleman and Cabinet-Maker’s Director: Being a Large Collection of the Most Elegant and Useful Designs of Household Furniture in the Gothic, Chinese, and Modern Taste.’) !!!

BESPOKE FITTED ALCOVE FURNITURE

Two alcoves kitted out with clean, contemporary cabinets, spray finished in Pink Ground and fitted with solid brass k***s. The subtly panelled doors and simple bevelled skirting giving just enough of a nod to tradition in this period properly with its ornate mouldings.

Open the doors and the real oak interiors, matt lacquered offer a satisfying contrast.

Cable management through a bespoke colour-matched grommet in the top and pre-cut holes in the inner shelf and cabinet mean easy integration with any devices.

Floating shelves above seamlessly flow around the curved wall giving vast amounts of storage and a clean finish.

Ammonite fossil stand in English ash and American black walnut. Asymmetric and cubist in style. A fun, mini project used as a test bed for 3D shaping on CNC.
