If we washed, dried and folded every single load for you this week, what would you do with your extra 3 hours?

It’s really sad when one small business supports another, only to be left chasing payment for work they have already completed. 😔

The Laundry Place is a small local business that we have worked incredibly hard to build.

Like so many other small businesses, we have bills to pay, staff to look after and a business to keep running.

We offer discounted services to other local businesses because we understand how important it is to support one another.

Sadly, we are now in a position where we are owed over £1,000 for services we have already provided.

We have gone above and beyond to look after this customer, but unfortunately our attempts to get payment have been ignored and will be now having to push this further.

We won’t be naming and shaming anyone because that’s not how we choose to run our business.

But I do want to make a point…

Small businesses are not charities.

Behind every small business is someone who has worked incredibly hard, taken risks, made sacrifices and probably had a few sleepless nights along the way.

£1,000 might not seem like a huge amount to some people, but to a small business it can make a massive difference.

We still have wages to pay. We still have bills coming in. And we still have to pay for the products and services needed to complete the work.

We have done our part, provided the service and kept our side of the agreement.

Is it really too much to expect the same in return?

Supporting small businesses isn’t just about liking their Facebook posts or recommending them to your friends. It’s also about paying them for the work they do. ❤️

Please remember that behind every small business is someone’s dream, someone’s livelihood and often a family depending on it.

Tips and tricks 😉

Clean your washing machine!

So our washing machines do such a good job washing our clothes full of sweat and dirt etc... but the dirt goes somewhere!

Give your washing machine drum and seals a clean to avoid the mould and dirt transfer!

Your washing machine will love you for it!

Now is it just us... or are we all feeling a bit dizzy after the clocks changing over night? 😵‍💫

Did you all remember last night or did you only realise when your phone was showing one time and your wall clock was saying differently?
