💙 Yorkshire Coast Cleaning Co Turns One 💙
Just over one year ago, whilst on maternity leave, I said to my partner I wanted to start my own cleaning business, to be flexible around my children and do something I'm passionate about, and he said - go for it! He really loved the idea, and one year ago today Yorkshire Coast Cleaning Co began! I really took the risk and left my full time job, and it was the best decision iv ever made.
We had one simple goal: to provide a reliable, trustworthy cleaning service that people could depend on whilst being present with our children not having to work evenings or weekends and being able to work around my children - not having to rely on childcare and just being that present parent I always wanted to be instead of working stupid hours to put food on the table.
It was in fact my partner who thought of the name for the company - he made the logo and he really pushed me as sometimes we say things but not carry them through. So thank you Rich, from the bottom of my heart, for helping me achieve my goals as this wouldn't have happened without you.
As we celebrate our first anniversary, we’re taking a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come. What started as an idea has grown into a business we’re incredibly proud of, thanks to the support of our wonderful customers, friends, family, and local community.
Every booking, recommendation, kind review, and word of encouragement has meant more than you'll ever know. Youve made our dreams come true.
You’ve helped us build something special, and for that, we are truly grateful. We've built such wonderful relationships with clients and most of you have been with me since day 1!
This first year has brought lots of hard work, challenges, lessons, tears, and many rewarding moments. Most importantly, it has allowed us to meet so many fantastic people across the Yorkshire Coast and help make their homes and workplaces cleaner, fresher, and more welcoming.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of our journey so far. We look forward to continuing to serve our community and growing together in the years ahead.

Now today I'd like everyone to raise a glass to this wonderful little company we have built and to the lovely girls who continue to work tirelessly and continue to make me proud each and every week.
We should of been celebrating this weekend but unfortunately due to my illness we have postponed 😢
