Wasps nest in ground exposed, killed & removed 🐝

Although late in their season, we are still being contacted for wasps nests that are in dangerous locations or causing problems inside buildings.

This nest was causing problems for a restaurant near where deliveries were coming in. Landscapers working nearby were also stung whilst carrying out work & we were called in to deal with it.

As you can see from the removed nest, the cells on the top layer are much larger, which are holding the remaining queen wasps to hatch & hibernate until next year.
Wasps will be particularly aggressive & protective during this period, as this is the whole purpose of the nest.

Once next years queens have left the nest, the queen that created this nest will die & following this all remaining worker wasps will slowly start to die off.

🚨 “We’ve got hundreds of wasps coming into our bathroom!” 🚨

That was the call we received from a worried customer after wasps kept appearing inside their home.

Our inspection quickly revealed they were entering through the bathroom extractor fan. 🐝

After checking the outside of the property, we could see wasps flying in and out of the external vent—clear evidence that the nest was somewhere in the extractor ducting.

A look in the loft confirmed it. The wasps had built a large nest inside the flexible duct connecting the bathroom extractor fan to the outside vent.

✅ Duct disconnected
✅ Nest treated
✅ Nest removed
✅ Duct reconnected

Problem solved, and no more unwanted visitors in the bathroom! 👌

If you’ve noticed wasps appearing inside your home or have a constant flight path in & out of a point, don’t ignore it - this normally indicates that wasps have nested in your home.

🐦 Another commercial pigeon guano clearance completed.

This commercial unit was undergoing renovation before its new tenants move in, but years of pigeon activity had left the rear courtyard and fire escape stairs heavily contaminated, creating a health and safety risk and preventing work from continuing safely.

Our team carried out a full guano clearance, deep clean, and sanitisation, leaving the area clean, safe, and ready for the contractors to get back to work.

➡️ Swipe to see the before & after transformation.

If pigeons are causing problems at your commercial or residential property, don’t leave it until it becomes a bigger issue, message us today for a free, no-obligation quote.

This bird box had become home to a different flying creature 🐝

The home owner had reported seeing a hornet repeatedly entering, which had nested inside.
Although only small at this time of year, this would have continued to grow over the summer, becoming more protective & aggressive as it develops.

The nest was killed, removed & bird box put back into together which would be safe for the correct next tenants 🕊️
