A pair of Crocs repaired this week, new grip on the soles to keep them going, and a lovely pair of ladies shoes needing a bit of building up as worn through and customer wanted red soles to go with the look so used some red mirror soles to keep them going and looking like they are supposed to

Back from holiday all refreshed and ready to go, hoping everyone enjoyed the carnival was a great week!! Today we have some Vibram units on some shoes and some boots swapped from leather soles to a more practical Dainite unit to last better in weather conditions

The coveted trophies of the Bovey Bar Challenge returned and last years winners engraved, who will win this year!? There are one or two spaces left for any last minute entries, forms will be in Lloyd Maunder Butchers, last day to enter is thursday 30th!! All part of the wonderful Bovey Tracey Carnival week!!

With all the crazy repairs I’ve gone for a different one this week, a simple stick on sole and heel on some ladies sandals, adds protection and grip, also some new leather insoles to freshen them up! I’m away next week on hols so I’ll be closed from Saturday until Monday the 3rd, so if you need to collect anything please make sure it’s by the weekend, same as the Bovey Tracey Carnival Bar Challenge team entry forms, don’t worry I’ll have a plan for any late entries, only a few forms left so get your teams in quickly for one of the funniest nights of the year!

Happy New Year - and Happy Saturday. We hope everyone is well and thriving for 2026 - 1 week into January already.

As some may have noticed, the event pages for our summer events have been locked in. We are looking forward to a bright and sunny future (hopefully!)

A pair of leather throughsoles this week, finished off with a protective stick on sole, and new leather heel blocks and top pieces, also, It is back! The Bovey Tracey Carnival Bar Challenge!! Teams of 4 engaging in various challenges throught the drinking establishments in Bovey, over 18’s only, but all other ages welcome! Entry forms available in the shop £20 per team, limited availability so get in quickly!!
