🐝 Notice more buzzing around your garden lately? We are officially in peak wasp season here in the UK! 👇
Right now, queen wasps have finished building their initial nests, and the worker populations are exploding. What starts as a small, golf-ball-sized nest can quickly grow to the size of a football—housing thousands of defensive wasps.
Finding a nest in your loft, under your roof eaves, or hidden in a garden shed can turn a relaxing summer evening into a real safety hazard, especially for children and pets.
🛑 Why safety comes first (and why you shouldn't DIY this one):
Attempting to tackle an active wasp nest with a can of supermarket spray or a garden hose is incredibly dangerous. When a nest is threatened, wasps release a pheromone that signals the entire colony to attack. Unlike bees, a single wasp can sting multiple times, and an aggressive swarm can result in severe allergic reactions or worse.
Please don't risk your safety. The team at Clear Choice Pest Control handles infestation removal quickly, humanely, and safely. Our fully trained technicians have the professional-grade protective gear and specialized treatments to clear the nest without putting you or your family in harm's way.
Clear choice. Zero stress. A safe, wasp-free summer. 🛑🏡
