✨ Starling Net Replacement in Antrim ✨

Our team recently installed a brand-new starling net under a canopy in Antrim, replacing an old system that had been in place for around 20 years. Over time, the original net had begun to detach from the beam clips, and the fixings had corroded due to salt exposure and weather conditions.

To ensure a long-lasting solution, we removed all old materials and installed high-quality stainless steel Hilti fixings and support wires, carefully following the building’s profile. Once the secure framework was in place, we fitted a 20m x 20m starling net, designed to prevent birds from nesting under the canopy and causing damage.

The first stage of the fumigation process being carried out at out at our site in Belfast docks using Magnesium Phosphide - the fumigation process will continue for 7 days, before venting and shipping to the client.

Today, Termapest had the privilege of carrying out a rather unusual rescue in the heart of Belfast city centre. This little guy found himself in a bit of trouble, but we were more than happy to step in and help.

While it’s not every day we come across something like this, it was a truly rewarding experience. At Termapest, we firmly believe that every living creature deserves a chance at life, and it was an absolute pleasure to save this beautiful bird.
