One of our favourite things is seeing your flowers out in the world.
Thank you @fionalegge for sharing this with us — and for such kind words about your bouquet. It’s never taken for granted.

The flower stall will be open again from Thursday through to Sunday this week, and it’s shaping up to be a really beautiful one.

If you’re popping by, you can expect highly scented lily of the valley (a fleeting favourite that will only be around for a week or so), the last of the tulips, along with alliums, aquilegia, ranunculus, campanula — and perhaps even the very first peonies.

As always, everything is seasonal and a little bit pot luck — but that’s part of the charm.

I’m running a small, relaxed workshop on Saturday 2nd May (2–4pm) where we’ll work with whatever the garden is giving us that week — tulips, ranunculus, anemone and other late spring bits, all with that soft, just-picked feel.
This is one of those times of the year I always look forward to — when the tulips are still just about holding on, the ranunculus are at their best, the early summer flowers are just starting to creep in and everything feels a little full and generous.

We’ll go through how I prepare and condition everything, pause for tea and homemade cake while I show you how I put a bouquet together, and then you’ll make your own to take home.

It’s a small group (as always), so there’s time to go at your own pace — and if a hand-tie isn’t comfortable for your hands, you can absolutely make something in a vase instead.

There are 5 places available
£65 per person

If you’ve been thinking about coming along to something like this, this one will be a lovely, seasonal place to start.
Book your place and i'll see you there:

First wedding of the year and what an amazing day for this Bride and Groom - the most perfect weather and the most beautiful of spring flowers!
Many congratulations to you both!
Flowers consisted of tulips, ranunculus, narcissi, first stems of the lily of the valley, muscari and anemones.
Loved the additional pops of pinks for the bridesmaids bouquets and the sweetest little flowers girls posy.

The flower stall is open this weekend

The doors are open today through to Sunday with a fresh selection of spring bunches, all grown here in our Arts & Crafts garden in Sibford Ferris.

Right now it’s all about Tulips, Bluebells, Camassias and Ranunculus — those first proper spring stems that feel like a bit of a turning point in the year. Grown here, cut fresh, and bundled simply from £15 so you can just take them home and enjoy them straight away.

If you’re passing, do pop by and choose a bunch. Or if you know you’d like something specific, it’s always best to pre-order as the stall is very much a what’s ready today kind of setup.

The Flower stall is open: Thursdays to – Sundays.

March always feels like the garden stretching its arms after winter. There’s a quiet bustle here in the potting shed — seed trays filling up, always muddy boots by the door, and our golden Labrador Tiggy doing her own spot checks on our resident garden dinosaur in the orchard, the bees, or neglecting her duties and snoozing on the old brick path.

In The The Cutting Garden

Last week we were been busy sowing seeds, potting on young plants, and planting out our second batch of ranunculus so that the cutting beds will be full and abundant as the season unfolds.
Our cutting garden supplies local customers with bouquets and florists with wholesale flower buckets, plus our roadside flower stall which will be reopening fully every Thursday-Saturday from April.

Flower Classes

Some of you joined us last winter for our Christmas wreath workshops, which were such a joy to host here at Home Close Flowers.

As the seasons unfold, I'm beginning to plan a handful of new seasonal workshops and flower-filled mornings here at Home Close Flowers — from creating seasonal wreaths to learning how to create your own hand-tied bouquets. More details are being released soon but if you want to be the first to know, sign up to our email list here: https://fascinating-glitter-61497.myflodesk.com/l7iemx3tej

For every mum who loves gardening, wandering outdoors and walking in the countryside, or just loves having a touch of the season inside her home… these bouquets are made for her.

This year we’ve got British-grown tulips and narcissi (miniature daffodils), paired with twigs and foliage freshly picked from our garden here in the Cotswolds. Each bunch is made by hand, with care, and with the season in mind — nothing rushed, nothing forced.

I believe mums will love them because they’re honest flowers, grown slowly, naturally, and in tune with the seasons. They smell like spring, feel like the garden they've always loved nurturing, and arrive ready to bring a bit of joy to a kitchen table, a windowsill, or a favourite vase. They’re small moments of beauty, made to be noticed, handled, and appreciated.

💐 Prices from £25–£75
📅 We have limited flowers available this year, so pre-order if you can ( https://www.homecloseflowers.co.uk/mother-s-day-flowers ), to be sure you get the bunch you love.

The roadside flower stall is open:
Friday 13th: 8am–8pm
Saturday 14th: 8am–8pm
Sunday 15th: opening hours depend on what’s left

Here's to celebrating mums with simple, seasonal, British-grown flowers,
Carolyn

You’ve imagined your wedding day down to the smallest detail. You want flowers that feel personal, seasonal, and alive — a reflection of the English countryside, the heady fragrance of the garden you grew up in, and the kind of blooms you’ve always dreamed of holding… as if plucked from the pages of a classic English romance. You love being creative, putting your own stamp on things, and sharing that experience with the people closest to you.

At Home Close Flowers, I hand-pick British blooms and foliage grown from our Arts & Crafts kitchen garden so every stem is seasonal, scented, and full of personality. Whether you want to create your own arrangements, have a little guidance, or have us make your bridal party flowers, there are lots of ways we can bring your vision to life:

DIY Bridal Buckets – Hand-picked blooms ready for you to craft bouquets, buttonholes, posies, or crowns with family and friends (£65 per bucket, ~50 stems)

Bridal Bouquets & Posies – Made to your colour palette, finished with hessian, raffia, or a ribbon of your choice

Buttonholes, Corsages & Flower Crowns – Seasonal blooms for your bridal party or little helpers

Wedding Floristry Workshops – One-to-one or small group sessions to make bouquets, table centres, urns, or crowns with guidance, refreshments, and cake (or bubbles!)

Every stem is chosen and conditioned so creating with flowers feels joyful, natural, and completely personal.

Get in touch to chat about your wedding flowers and how we can make them beautifully yours.
