I’m incredibly proud to be part of the launch of the Women in Industry Network (WIN), alongside my colleagues Claire Maguire and Amanda Thompson -Smith

Formed under the BSPF - British Swimming Pool Federation, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion initiative, WIN has been created to support, empower and advance women working across the UK wet leisure sector – at every level and across every discipline.

Despite the strength and talent women bring to our industry, many are still under-represented in senior, technical and decision‑making roles. This network exists to help change that narrative, not through preferential treatment, but by building confidence, capability, visibility and opportunity.

At its heart, WIN is about representation, belief and inclusion. It’s a safe, supportive space for open dialogue, shared learning, mentoring and practical action, while also recognising the importance of allyship and collaboration across the wider industry.

This is something I care deeply about, and I’m excited to see how the network develops with the women who have already engaged so positively and honestly in its early stages.
