🚨 Hosepipe Ban in your area? Here's what pool owners need to know.

During a Temporary Use Ban (TUB), swimming pools and spas cannot be filled or topped up using a hosepipe. In most cases, filling with a bucket is still permitted, and some statutory exemptions may apply.

When there’s a hosepipe ban in place, domestic customers are only allowed to fill swimming pools or paddling pools with a hand-held container, such as a bucket. It is not permitted to fill or top up a swimming pool or paddling pool with a hosepipe or fixed plumbing (e.g. an auto top-up device). Hot tubs are not meant to be included in the scope of the hosepipe ban, but some water companies have included them in their bans. Please note that swim spas are understood to be classed as swimming pools, and so would be part of the ban.g

The British Swimming Pool Federation is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and trustworthy individual to join its small team in Andover, Hampshire.

If you are organised, comfortable with Sage accounts (multi-company) and, preferably, Sage Cloud Payroll, and happy to work closely with a small team, we would love to hear from you.

The role would suit someone with very good interpersonal skills, who has excellent attention to detail. The role is offered to someone wanting to have a long-term, part-time challenge.

It is envisaged that the person will wish to be self-employed, but an employed option can be discussed, if applicable (the hourly rate would then be negotiable).
