During a time when their focus needed to be entirely on Levi and his medical care, Ronald McDonald House became their home away from home for 121 days. It gave their family a place to stay close together, a warm meal, a place to rest, and a community of support during some of the most difficult and uncertain days a family can face.

That experience is the reason this tournament means so much to all of us.

Levi’s story is just one of so many Maritime families who have relied on Ronald McDonald House when they needed it most. By coming together for this tournament, we have an opportunity to give back and help make sure that other families have that same support when their world is turned upside down. ❤️🏠

We were incredibly honored to attend the one-year anniversary to celebrate the Ronald McDonald House Maritimes with opening their new house! What an amazing facility and an even more amazing mission. ❤️

For those who may not know, Ronald McDonald House provides a “home away from home” for families with sick or injured children receiving medical care away from home. The house gives families a comfortable place to stay close to their children during some of life’s most difficult moments — easing financial stress, providing support, and creating a sense of community when it’s needed most.

Walking through the new space and hearing the stories behind it was truly inspiring. From the welcoming family spaces to the thoughtful details throughout the house, it’s clear how much love and care has gone into creating a place of comfort and hope for Maritime families.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in making this incredible house possible and to the staff, volunteers, donors, and supporters who continue to make a difference every single day.
