Buckle up yall it’s a doozy!!
I tend to not get too personal on my business page, however as I get ready to head into year SEVEN of TLC Cleaning & Organizing, I’m feeling a little emotional and a whole lot grateful. And would like to share my feelings with y’all! 🩵
I STILL have a handful of clients who have been with me since the very beginning. 🥹 To think that you’ve continued to choose me, welcome me into your homes and trust me year after year… that means more than I could ever put into words.
Being booked and busy is something I’m thankful for. But seeing familiar names on my schedule, knowing you’re still choosing TLC after all these years? That hits my heart a little differently.
Building a business from scratch takes so much of you. The cleaning itself, the messages, scheduling, paperwork, promoting your work and finding the energy to do it all again. Being the person behind every part of a business that you also depend on for your income comes with a lot of pride… and a lot of pressure.
I’ve poured my heart, my energy and a whole lot of hard work into TLC. There have been proud moments, lessons learned the hard way, exhausted evenings and times I’ve had to dig deep to keep moving forward.
And through all of that, life kept happening.
Behind TLC is also a wife, a mom, a daughter missing her Ma something fierce, and a woman who has been working through grief, her own mental health and learning how to take care of herself, too. There have been days when the weight of my personal life made even the everyday things feel heavy.
I’ve had to learn to slow down, set boundaries, take time to heal and give myself some of the grace I so easily give to everyone else. Those haven’t always been easy lessons when you care so deeply about your clients and the business you’ve built.
To those who have shown me patience, kindness and understanding through those seasons… thank you. You may never know how much a kind message or a little flexibility has meant to me. 🩵
And now, as I’m starting to feel more like myself again, I can look at what I’ve built and say: I’m proud of myself. Proud of the work I’ve done, the relationships I’ve built and the heart I continue to put into TLC.
Whether you’ve been here since day one, recently welcomed me into your home, referred a friend or shared one of my posts you’ve helped this little business grow.
To my clients who have been here from the beginning: you hold such a special place in my TLC story. Thank you for growing with me through the years!!
I’m definitely heading into year seven with a grateful heart, a little more wisdom and so much love for the people who make this possible. 🩵
