Well, this partnership was always going to make sense💦🤽‍♂️

We’re incredibly excited to announce that Splash’s Pools is officially a MAJOR SPONSOR of Wyong Water Polo Club for the 2026/27 season! 🙌

Apparently spending seven days a week around swimming pools wasn’t quite enough for us, we took it a step further😂

If you’ve followed us for a while, being a local, family-owned business, supporting grassroots sport and the families behind it is something we’re incredibly passionate about.

Behind every club are the dedicated volunteers, coaches, parents and supporters who give up their time to make it all happen. And we reckon that’s something worth getting behind 💪 💙

We’re looking forward to seeing our Splash’s branding poolside, cheering on the players and being part of another fantastic local sporting community.

A huge thank you to Wyong Water Polo for welcoming us aboard. We’re genuinely excited about what this partnership will bring!

Here’s to a cracking 2026/27 season! 🏆

And if anyone needs us, we’ll probably be at a pool somewhere. Business as usual, really 🤷‍♂️👀😂

Meet Eddie 👋

Eddie joined the Splash’s crew at the beginning of July and somehow managed to fit in so quickly that it already feels like he’s been here for years.

At this point, he’s basically part of the furniture 😂

As Splash’s continues to grow, we’ve also been growing our in-store team, so there are more experienced hands available to help with your questions, equipment, bookings, repairs, water testing and everything else that comes through the doors.

And Eddie brings plenty of experience with him.

He’s been in the pool industry for a long time, knows his way around the weird, wonderful and occasionally frustrating world of pools, and has already hit the ground running with us this season.

He’s also a local and a very proud dad, which makes him an even better fit for the Splash’s family.

So if you see Eddie in store, or an email from him lands in your inbox, now you know the face behind the name 👀 🤗

Welcome to the team, Eddie. We’re very glad you’re here, and even happier to have another knowledgeable face in-store helping us look after our customers 💙

New season. New team photos. Same questionable bunch. 😂💙

The latest Splash’s crew, ready for another very busy pool season. And hating on me (Tara) for making them squint into the sun again 😅 sorry guys!

Well… almost the whole crew.

One of our road techs was supposed to be here too, but in true Splash’s fashion, a pool had other ideas and kept him stuck out on site 👀

Behind every water test, service call, equipment install, repair, emergency phone call and “whilst you’re here, can you just have a quick look at this?” is this lot 😍

They work hard, back each other, know their stuff and somehow manage to keep the banter going through all of it.

We’re pretty lucky to head into another season with this team representing Splash’s.

And to our missing tech Jordan, don’t worry… we’ll Photoshop you in later 😂

Bring on pool season 2026/2027 🥳🫶🏼💦

We had a team photoshoot this morning, and apparently that wasn’t embarrassing enough 😂

So naturally, we had to see what the crew would have looked like if we were keeping pools clean somewhere circa 1987 🤘

The hair 💁🏻‍♀️
The outfits 🤣
The questionable confidence!
The fact that some of us look FAR too comfortable in this era 👀 😅

Safe to say, the 80s can keep the fashion & the hairstyles 😬

We’ll stick with pools 💦😂

Now we need to know - who suits the 80s a little too well? 😅 it’s Andrew in the singlet & mullet for me 🤣

Owner-building a pool? The equipment pad probably deserves more thought than “we’ll work that out later.” 👀

A lot of people think the filtration system is something you choose once the pool shell is underway.

In reality, some of the most important decisions are better made much earlier.

If you’re taking on an owner-builder pool project or considering it, our team can help you plan and quote a complete filtration and equipment system tailored to your pool, your property, your priorities and your budget.

That can include things like:

• where pipework and suction lines should run
• how far equipment will sit from the pool
• positioning of pumps, filters and chlorinators
• heating options and heater placement
• pool lighting and control systems
• cleaning systems
• automation
• lower-chlorine and alternative sanitation options
• equipment sizing and overall system design

Want something highly automated that does as much of the work for you as possible? We can help with that.

Prefer a reliable, straightforward system that keeps the build within budget? We can help with that too.

The important part is making these decisions before concrete is poured, the shells craned in, pipes disappear underground and changing something suddenly becomes considerably more expensive. 😅

Bring your plans into Splash’s (or email them through to us) and let our team look over the project with you.

We can help make sure the system behind the pool works just as well as the pool looks when it’s finished💙

A little late to the feed, but definitely not late on the appreciation 💙

We hope all the dads, grandads, stepdads, father figures and the fellas doing their very best to keep the wheels turning had a wonderful Father’s Day yesterday 🫶🏼

Andrew got to start the celebrations a little early at the boys’ school Father’s Day breakfast 🍳

As a family business, days like these are a good reminder of why we do what we do in the first place.

Here’s to the dads juggling businesses, work, school drop-offs, sport, family life and the approximately 47 things someone has asked them to fix around the house 👀

We hope you were thoroughly spoilt yesterday, or at the very least got a decent breakfast and five minutes of peace 😂💙 (and that the pool got a good workout 🙌)

Happy Father’s Day from our family to yours 🫶🏼

And we have a winner 🥇 🍕🔥

Congratulations to Melanie, who is officially taking home our Dough Bros Nevo Portable Pizza Oven 🥳

The draw itself was simple.

Getting Andrew through the intro without laughing? Considerably harder 😂

A few takes, some very serious acting, multiple spins of the draw and eventually we got down to business.

Then came the best part, calling Melanie to let her know she’d won, followed very quickly by Andrew deciding he’d personally deliver it to her 🤣

Big thank you to everyone who entered, shopped with us and got behind our Father’s Day giveaway. We absolutely loved running this one. Thanks to the legends at Dough Bros as Melanie doesn’t only take home the pizza oven but an infrared thermometer and utensils as well! 🤗

And yes, the F100 made a completely unnecessary but very appreciated background appearance 😅

Congratulations Melanie, we hope there are many very good pizzas ahead. 🍕

And if you missed out on this one, don’t go anywhere because we’re not finished with giveaways for 2026 👀🐬

Our next one has already started, and this time we’re giving away a Dolphin robotic pool cleaner valued in the thousands.

Sign up to receive our emails and remain subscribed, and/or spend with us, and you’ll be in the running when we draw our winner on Wednesday 23 December.

Yep. Someone is getting a Dolphin for Christmas 🎄🐬

More on that very soon…
