There is a few steps to cleaning up a green pool.

*Step 1.. treat the water

*Step 2 ..shut the filtration
system down and let the chemicals work there magic

*step 3.. suck all the dead algae and debris out.
This may need to be repeated a few times until its free off any dead algae .

Step 4.. rebalance the water and turn the filtration back on.
