Dealing with these pools in 38 degree heat, reminding people to make sure they're topping up with water, evaporation is crazy in this heat. This one was just starting to turn green, due to water too low at skimmer, reducing circulation and chlorine input.

Green to clean... Pools can quickly get out of control for a number of reasons. This pool has had a blackspot problem all throughout the pool, due to the colour of the concrete that has a quartz coating on it, I was unable to treat it like I normally would with granular blackspot remover, as this will bleach the surface of the pool white. This time I used Lochlor Liquid blackspot killer which comes in 1 litre bottles, brilliant product that took effect within 2 days and killed the blackspot quickly. Now it just needs a regular brush down to remove any dead blackspot and the pool is good as new.
