🧵✨ A productive day in the sewing room! ✨🧵

I had another lovely sewing session today working on some projects for Sheridan’s Sewing Creations! 💙

Today, I made:

📚 Two handmade book sleeves featuring beautiful autumn leaves and elegant ginkgo leaf prints.

🔑 Four fabric key wristlets in gorgeous floral and colourful patterned fabrics, with different metal clasps.

I love how the different fabrics bring each handmade item to life! Every project gives me another opportunity to practise my sewing skills and create something special.

I would like to make my followers and customers aware of an issue I have recently experienced on my business page.

After I post photos of my handmade sewing products, I have received comments and private messages from suspicious accounts/pages asking whether my products are still available for sale and trying to arrange a time for pickup.

Some of these accounts appear to be fan pages with very few or no followers, which has raised concerns that they may not be genuine customers.

🚨 Please be aware that these may be scam or fake buyer accounts.

For my own safety and the safety of my customers, I will not engage with suspicious accounts or arrange pickups through accounts that appear fraudulent.

To any fake/scam accounts contacting Sheridan’s Sewing Creations:

Please stop contacting my business page.

Any suspicious accounts will be blocked and reported to Facebook.

I also encourage my genuine customers and followers to be careful when dealing with unfamiliar accounts and not to send money, personal information or click suspicious links.

I want to keep Sheridan’s Sewing Creations a safe and positive space for genuine customers who love handmade products. 💙🧵

I have now added my own Sheridan’s Sewing Creations cotton labels to my book sleeves, giving each one a more personalised and professional finish. 💙
