"Just because something is 'old', doesn't mean it can't be 'clean'.

As our lives get busier and busier, the 'too-hard' basket gets fuller and fuller.
But our living space directly influences our head space.
Clean space, clean mind. We need to nurture both. 🧼✨

This here is a rental I have just moved into. It's not modern nor fancy by any means, but it is quirky, quiet, and fits me to a tee.

However, my head space wasn't coping too well with this shower. Years of hard water build-up, bioscum, and product had left it looking like something out of a horror movie!

So, instead of unpacking my belongings, I set to work. I tested everything in my kit until I found the right combination to lift the stains (though let's be real—it mainly took a lot of brute force and elbow grease!). 💪

I think it might take me the entirety of my lease to completely finish every inch of this shower, but my head feels so much better already.

Think of it as a choose-your-own-adventure style clean.

You get 8 hours of my labour, professional products, and expertise.

You list your cleaning conundrums in order of priority — from highest to lowest — and I come in and work from the top of that list down in a functional, time-efficient order.

Some examples of sessions so far have been:
• Oven clean, bathrooms & window tracks
• Fans, skirting boards & wall wash
• Pantry clean-out, fridge seals, AC filters & security screens
• Children’s bedrooms full clean-out & declutter

What a glow up. Seriously. This is the kind of job my lower back lives for.✨️✨️

Is your shower glass looking like something out of a murder mystery and you're spooked by your own reflection?

If yes… you’re not alone. I'm here to help you save it!

😑 before we go any further, quick reality check:
Some glass can be saved… and some glass can absolutely not. It is what I lovingly call “glass cancer.”
(Technical term: mineral etching that has permanently bonded into the surface..no amount of scrubbing will fix it.)

Here’s a quick way to test if it can be saved.
👇
The razor test.
Grab a scraper blade (the bunnings style ones with the handle and safety head).
Wet the glass and the blade. KEEP IT WET!
Light pressure only...lay it at a very shallow angle and scrape in long, steady strokes.
If you see white buildup lifting onto the blade yay! Repeat. And repeat. And repeat. And if the glass underneath starts clearing?
🎉 You’ve got hope.

If it stays cloudy no matter what comes off?
I hate to say it… but that’s likely permanent etching. You'll either have to install new glass, or embrace the mystery of the fog.

Now for this specific shower transformation
This was a full wild but satisfying reset job. Here’s exactly what went into it:

1. Thorough wet down of all surfaces
2. Applied 40:60 mix of CLR Original + water using an extendable flat scrubber
3. Left to dwell for 30 minutes
4. Aggressive scrub of glass, tiles, and all surfaces
5. Razor blade scrape (vertical topto bottom lines)
6. Dish soap + water scrub to neutralise and lift remaining residue
7. Wet 0000 steel wool (small circular motions) for stubborn build-up
8. Repeated cycles on glass, flor tiles, and walls (its amazing those discoloured brown spots on tiles can actually be lifted)
9. Drains + tapware detail cleaned with wet 0000 steel wool
10. Squeegee dry (glass + tiled walls)
11. Microfibre polish of all surfaces
12. Final product polish of glass & tapware (Halo is my go to finish)
13. Exterior glass, frame, and edging cleaned and polished
14. Stand back… question life choices... cry a little… admire your handiwork.

Sounds like a lot?
It is.
But it works. And you can do it!! 💪
If your glass passes the razor test, it can usually be saved with the right process, or process of elimination!

Hello everyone!!

I've been getting quite a few messages for cleans so I thought I'd check in and pin this post ☺️

The 2026 exploration season is currently in full swing, and I'm enjoying embracing my dirty side in this relentless heat! It's gearing up to he a huge season for minerals, with more work than I can poke a stick at so there will be minimal downtime for cleans.

I will be sure to post here if I have some down time, and I'll also post when the season starts slowing down again and Cove Clean is back in full swing.
