The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Severe Heatwave Warning for the Herbert and Lower Burdekin district.

Take care of yourself and consider doing the following:
▪️ Drink plenty of water
▪️ Keep out of the heat as much as possible
▪️ Stay as cool as possible by wearing appropriate clothing
▪️ Look after your animals
▪️ Close your windows and draw blinds/curtains early in the day to keep the heat out of your home
