Delivered in partnership with Solo Resource Recovery and APR ChemCycle, the initiative provides a convenient drop-off solution for soft plastics that cannot be placed in household recycling bins. The collected material is processed and repurposed, helping divert valuable resources from landfill.

Soft plastics accepted include many clean and scrunchable packaging materials.

Soft plastics can be tricky - but getting it right makes a big difference.

Items like bread bags, chip packets, and plastic wrapping should not go in your recycling bin.

Why?

Because soft plastics can tangle in sorting equipment and contaminate other recyclable materials.

Instead:
✔ Check for dedicated soft plastics recycling programs
✔ Store separately until proper drop-off is available
✔ Keep them out of kerbside recycling bins
