WE ARE HIRING – IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE

A fast-growing, highly reputable water damage restoration company based in Cairns (servicing all of FNQ) is expanding its team. We specialise in water damage restoration, carpet cleaning, fire and smoke remediation, and mould remediation. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an additional team member to join us ASAP.

No experience is required – we provide full, paid on-the-job training. We simply need someone reliable, motivated, and willing to learn.

What We’re Looking For
We want someone who is:
• Friendly, reliable, and genuinely hard-working
• Honest and able to follow clear instructions
• Available for weekday work, with occasional weekend or rare night work
• Able to travel to and from our Gordonvale workshop
• Holding a current driver’s licence with a clean driving history

This is a casual position averaging 38+ hours per week with long-term, full-time potential for the right person.

What the Job Involves
You will assist our lead technicians and eventually work independently after training. Tasks include:
• Carpet, upholstery, and tile cleaning
• General assistance to senior technicians
• Water damage restoration
• Fire and smoke damage restoration
• Mould remediation
• Loading and unloading equipment
• Removing various floor coverings (carpet, vinyl, laminate)
• Cleaning, maintaining, and organising equipment
• Applying common-sense and taking pride in your work

Candidates seeking a long-term, full-time career will have opportunities for formal industry training, certifications, and progression within the business.
