Most people don’t think twice about their gas flame… but it tells you everything about what’s going on.

✅ What you want:

A steady blue flame all the way around the burner
→ Clean, efficient, safe cooking

⚠️ What to watch for:
Yellow/orange flame → Burner is dirty or blocked
Uneven flame → Ports clogged or cap misaligned
Weak or flickering flame → Incorrect parts or gas issue

We are launching a new service to home owners who want and need a reliable home services provider.

There are hundreds of plumbers and electricians in the market. Many of these are unreliable in quality, availability and or certification. Sometimes you find someone who does good work, but they quickly become flooded with work and now you can't get them when you need them.

Our answer to this problem is Spotted Owl. We are building a large capacity, yet local and personal provider of all your essential home services. Founded at the end of 2024 we have built up a starting team to focus on the Cape Winelands. Stellenbosch, Somerset West and as far as Franschoek.

We are currently offering certified gas, electrical and plumbing services, and will expand early in the year to cover more of your home needs.

Our model is to have recurring long-term customers. That means we are constantly increasing our team-capacity, adding services, investing in technology and our people, and using premium quality components to ensure durability.

We offer 24-month workmanship guarantees and back up the warranties on any components we use.

We also offer preventative maintenance. Because we cover many services, we can schedule a convenient appointment with a small team to treat your drains, check your basin couplings for leaks, supply replacement water filters and more.
